meet the team

Fred and Nan Hardin
We are Fred and Nan Hardin, the owners of White Azalea. We met while working for a small business in south Mississippi on a government contract. We began dating several years later after Fred had moved on to another opportunity. We were married in Aug 2011 and have a beautiful family of 5 children – Cory, Taylor, Jackson, Jamie Ruth, and Jamie Lee. Yes, we have two Jamie’s!
Fred grew up in Biloxi, MS and earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Alabama. He is a manufacturing specialist and loves to build things – especially sports cars. He is an avid Corvette fan and loves to spend time in his shop working on making them better and faster.
I grew up in Ocean Springs, MS and earned my BS in Computer Science from Mississippi State University (Go Dawgs!). I spent the majority of my career in project and program management supporting NASA contracts and love the space program mission! My favorite place is the beach, and I love jogging, outdoor activities, and spending time with my family.
In 2017, we decided to pursue having our own wedding venue. We also decided to pursue our MBAs through University of North Alabama and we used the MBA program to research owning and operating a wedding venue.
After moving to the Huntsville, AL area in 2019, we began converting a 8000 sq ft barn into the beautiful venue that it is today. We are thrilled to be starting our dream of White Azalea and look forward to playing a part in your special event!

Cory Booth
I’m Cory, the Marketing Manager for White Azalea, and the person behind our social media and website. I’m Nan’s oldest daughter, and I currently live in Orlando, FL, with my husband John and our two dogs.
I went to college in Boston and received my undergraduate degree in Marketing Communications from Emerson College. I also have a master’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Southern Mississippi.
I love to travel, and my husband and I have a blog and YouTube channel called Let’s Find Fun. John works in the theme park industry in Orlando, and we love visiting the parks, exploring Florida, and traveling around the U.S. and internationally as often as we can.
I have always loved weddings, and I’ve supported my mom’s dream of owning a wedding venue since day one. I’m so happy I get to be a part of White Azalea, and I can’t wait to get to know each person who decides to have their wedding here with us!
